ThermaCare HeatWraps contain heat-generating ingredients (iron, charcoal, table salt, and water) that heat up when exposed to oxygen in the air. When you open the ThermaCare pouch, the wrap will begin to warm immediately and will reach its therapeutic temperature within approximately 30 minutes. Early heat therapy can help keep the pain from interfering with your life. *Use as directed How to Use To begin heat therapy, follow these easy steps. Tear open pouch when ready to use. It may take up to 30 minutes for ThermaCare to reach its therapeutic temperature. Place on pain area on lower back or hip with darker discs toward skin. If you are 55 years of age or older, wear ThermaCare over a layer of clothing and not directly against your skin. Attach firmly. For maximum effectiveness, we recommend you wear ThermaCare for 8 hours. Removing the Neck, Shoulder & Wrist HeatWrap from your skin is comparable to removing an adhesive bandage. Peel it slowly from your skin. If the adhesive feels too difficult to remove without causing skin irritation, try using mineral oil or baby oil on a cotton ball or swab to help loosen the attachment. Continue dabbing the oil under the edge where the product is attached and gently work the adhesive away from the skin. If you use oil to remove the product, you will not be able to reattach it.
